Like the chance to explore the Blue Cave during our first yacht cruise around some of Dalmatia’s best islands. This cerulean attraction is the beautiful work of Mother Nature and was formed as the seawater eroded limestone on Biševo island. When the sunlight creeps through the crevice at the top of the cave and hits its white seabed, you’ll be mesmerized by a blue hue. It’s no surprise this is one of Croatia’s top experiences today.

The adrenaline junkies in the group can dip deep into the Cetina River canyon for a morning of mountain climbing and zip-lining on day three of The Villa Week, and choose to spend the afternoon embracing the wellness offer at the villa to soothe any sore bones.

When you don’t feel like moving far from the comfort of your sunbed on day four but are anxious for an adventure, take the villa’s jet skis out for a spin in the morning before a big day of sightseeing with the group in the afternoon.

On day five, we’ll take you to Inland Dalmatia for yet another cave exploration, though this time, you’ll delve deep into one full of stalactites and stalagmites, pillars and arcades; one named a protected geomorphological natural monument in 1963. Not long after, you’ll have the chance to switch gears from archaeologist to skydiver as we safely encourage you to jump out of airplane in the town of Sinj – and if you’re looking to make the most of your big day out, take a joyride on ATVs before paintballing your way through Dalmatia’s hinterland.

Perhaps one of the favorite experiences in the entire week is day six, when you spend the day on a mega-catamaran for a cruise around some of the region’s hottest islands. While you’ll already spend the day consuming cold drinks and funky beats thanks to the sounds of our resident DJ, you can take it up a notch by scuba diving in a bright blue Brač lagoon when we stop for a swim.

But that’s not all we have in store. After your day at sea, post up in the kitchen with our famed chef to recreate some of the delightful Dalmatian dishes you’ve been dreaming about during our exclusive cooking class. And with bellies and hearts full, you can choose to ride into Split in style in one of our stellar supercars. The final day of The Villa Week does its best to ensure you won’t feel the blues of saying goodbye. To add an extra punch to the end of your holiday, hop on a guided tour of a UNESCO World Heritage Site – Diocletian’s Palace, and clear your head from the history with an exhilarating jet ski ride in the afternoon. The highlight of the day, however, comes with a sunset horseback ride up the mountain to meet the group for the farewell dinner at a local tavern.

Number One – Your Very Own Private Chef

When you dream about the ultimate summer holiday, one of the most deluxe amenities you can imagine is having the luxury of a private chef at your disposal. Fortunately, this doesn’t have to be just a dream of yours any longer. Next year, The Villa Week chef will be at your service, ready to concoct the creations of your desires. Not only will you be able to enjoy quality meals in the comfort of your private villa, but so long as you’re in our hands, we’ll make sure your belly never grows hungry.

Number Two – Cook as Good as You Look

Because we know you well, and we know that once you return from a holiday, your tongue races about wishing you learned how to make your favorite dishes – and you’ll probably talk about them for the many years to come. So, why not jump in the kitchen with our celebrated chef and learn the classics of the local cuisine? This new activity allows you to dig into Croatia’s delightful meat and seafood delicacies – and you’ll get to test your culinary prowess on the entire Villa Week crew.

After all this talk about jumping out of your comfort zone, we’ll even have you jumping out of airplanes! But don’t worry, as there is no reason to fear – you’ll be jumping tandem with a skydiving professional who will ensure this rush of adrenaline is exactly how you dreamed it. Are you ready to fly?

Number Five – Drive in Style with Our Luxury Rides

Because this week is glittered with just the right touch of elegance, how else would we get you to casino night if it wasn’t by a Mercedes S Class or Porsche SUV? Or, if we’re feeling really lucky, a Lambo? We’ll parade you around in our luxury cars for a taste of high living – and who knows, maybe it’ll pay off at the roulette table in the end?

Number Six – Ain’t No Mountain High, Ain’t No Valley Low

And we’ll have you climbing it all. We’ll take you on an adventure exploring Croatia’s finest, with views of the coast, river, island, and old towns below you. Our climbing instructor will lead you along the Via Ferrata route, which follows the steep mountain rock. You’ll be hooked, harnessed, and harbored on the hike to the top of the mountain, where a fortress will greet you as a reward.

Number Seven – Scuba Under the Sea

Dive deep into Croatia’s underwater world with the expert guidance of our diving instructor during our epic day-long catamaran adventure. We’ll dunk you into a colorful crystalline lagoon where you’ll get to spend your time connecting with the marine life and vibrant undersea. 

Number Eight –  In Vino Veritas

In wine, there is truth – and when wine tasting, a good time is had by all. This is your chance to shine as a wine enthusiast as you taste and test your way through some of the best local wineries. Lend your ear to our leading sommelier as they walk you through the history of Croatian winemakers. You’ll pick up the perfect palate for this beloved adult beverage in no time.

Number Nine – Boogie Nights

Because a hot summer night and salsa dancing go hand in hand, we’ve prepared an after-seafood-dinner shimmy for The Villa Week crew. Get your twinkle toes on the dance floor so our salsa master can spin, swing, and sway you through the rhythm of this seductive Latino dance. You might be on holiday in Croatia, but we’ll transport you to the streets of Cuba with the heavy salsa vibes hitting our dance floor.

A luxury, all-inclusive holiday where you can “leave your wallet at home” (and I mean that literally) is right around the corner, and I am eager to see what exactly it has in store. But before I dig a bit deeper into my excitement, what exactly is this week of paradise all about?

“A James Bond lifestyle holiday without the stress” the founders would say to sum up it, and I think they are pretty spot on. 

Namely, The Villa Week is a complete holiday package for you and your friends where you get to experience the best that Croatia has to offer in the most extra way possible. And while the adventures, relaxation, and culinary delights of the trip are a definite win, I’d argue that the fact that every single detail of the week is meticulously thought-out and pre-planned for you and your crew is a close second – er, if not tied for first. 

While I have no expectations and a wild week of wonder ahead of me, a few particular aspects of the trip have me dancing in anticipation.

The Food

The Villa Week not only helps you wake up with a buffet breakfast each morning of local products, fresh seasonal fruit, and hot and cold delights coupled with a stellar sea view you’ll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the world, but every meal on this week-long adventure has been carefully selected thanks to its perfection, quality, and exclusivity. Whether it’s a waterfront lunch on an island or at the top of a hill in a mountain tavern, The Villa Week is bound to bring you the best that this country can offer. From freshly-caught seafood to finger-licking-good BBQ, each meal The Villa Week serves promises to be authentic, local, and heavenly. And as a self-proclaimed foodie, I’m hungry for it all.

The Adventure

Because who doesn’t love a bit of an adrenaline rush? From motor yachts to Croatia’s iridescent caves to the rush of zip lining down Croatia’s greenest canyons, there is something to thrill everyone in the group. Quite frankly, I’m hankering for the helicopter tour overlooking the entire Krka National Park, because who else in their right mind isn’t? But hey, if you’re into horseback riding – you can do that too, or if you want to take Croatia’s hinterland by storm via ATVs, that’s also an option. Of course, this adventure includes plenty of time at sea for you to swim or get after water sports, and dancing until the sunrise is an event in and of itself. One thing is for sure – this week allows no time for boredom.

The Ease

But let’s not confuse boredom with having a bit of time to relax from all the fun. You and I both know that a bit of R&R is always welcome. This week in paradise makes sure you have just that. Because self-care is increasingly essential in today’s world, The Villa Week takes time in their packed schedule to make sure that you set aside some time for Y-O-U. Whether you choose to use the in-house masseuse, chill in the beach lounge, sunbathe above the waves or sweat it out from a workout, no option is a bad option. There is plenty of time to recharge, refresh, and revitalize on this packed holiday, and I ask myself again – what more could I want?
